This article covers how to approach cloud conflicts on:
- iCloud
- Dropbox
- Google Drive
iCloud Sync Conflicts
Cloud conflicts arise when iCloud detects that there are different versions of your Nebo library stored in the cloud and on your device. iCloud will ask you which version of the library you want to keep.

iCloud version | This will sync the version of your Nebo library in iCloud down to your device. If you have new notes on your device that you have not yet synced with iCloud, these will be overwritten. | |
Cancel | This option will cancel the sync process, but it will not resolve the cloud conflict. |
Dropbox Sync Conflicts
Cloud conflicts arise when Dropbox detects that different versions of your Nebo library are stored in the cloud and on your device. Dropbox will ask which version of the library you want to keep. It is important to be aware that an incorrect choice can lead to data loss which often cannot be undone.

I can't find one of my notes after syncing. How do I get it back?
If you accidentally delete one of your notes while you are syncing with Dropbox, this sync service offers you a path to retrieve your lost work:
- Open a browser and sign into your Dropbox account.
- In the left side panel, select Deleted files, as shown below.
- Select the file you would like to restore and select Restore.
- If you do not see the required file, you may need to select Show Filters and change the date range.
Google Drive Sync Conflicts
Cloud conflicts arise when Google Drive detects that there are different versions of your Nebo library stored in the cloud and on your device. Google Drive will ask you which version of the library you want to keep.

Google Drive does not offer an option for users to retrieve notes lost during an accidental cloud overwrite. It is therefore very important that you make regular full library backups on your device, just in case the unexpected should ever happen. Backing up or syncing your data, what’s the difference?
