Create your first notebook

Notebooks are containers for your notes. To create your first notebook:

iOS

1. Open the Notebooks section in the side panel.
2. Tap in the top right corner, then tap New notebook.
3. In the New notebook dialogue, choose an icon color.
4. Enter a name and select the collection where you want to store this new notebook.
5. Set your recognition language by selecting one of the languages on display, or by browsing Manage languages. (The recognition language cannot be changed afterward, so please don't skip this part.)
6. When you're done, tap Create in the top right corner.

Android

1. Open the Notebooks section in the side panel.
2. Tap in the top right corner, then tap New notebook.
3. In the New notebook dialogue, choose an icon color.
4. Enter a name and set your recognition language by selecting one of the languages on display, or by browsing Manage languages. (The recognition language cannot be changed afterward, so please don't skip this part.)
5.  Select the collection where you want to store this new notebook.
6. When you're done, tap Create in the bottom right corner.

Windows

1. In the side panel, tap in the top right corner, then tap New notebook.
