Copy/paste math equations into a LaTeX editor

Nebo allows you to copy/paste your Math equation into a LaTeX editor, and to obtain a LaTeX format. 

To do so:

  • Handwrite your Math equation.

  • If you are working on a Document page tap at the top right of your Math object and choose Copy.
  • If you are working on another page type use the lasso tool to select the equation and select Copy.
  • Open your LaTeX editor and paste your Math object to get a LaTex format.

Here is an example of the final result:


1. Math equation in Nebo: 

=>Action tap ... and do a copy


2. Online LaTex editor (like Overleaf, Online LaTeX Editor)

=>Action, do a Paste (Red box below). In this case the paste will be in LaTex format

Copying and Using LaTeX Expressions

  1. On iOS:
    Websites like CodeCogs LaTeX Equation Editor allow you to paste and compile LaTeX expressions seamlessly.

  2. On Android:
    Currently, there is a known issue with most LaTeX editors. As a workaround, you can copy and paste LaTeX expressions into WolframAlpha for evaluation or visualization.

  3. Tested Applications:

    • Notion and Obsidian: These popular apps have been tested and work well with LaTeX expressions from Nebo.
