While it is possible to create long notes in Nebo, it is important to remember that your device also needs to be able to process the content you are creating. Text, text size, colors, math, diagram, and sketch objects, along with imported images, etc., are all considered data by your device. Your device will limit the amount of RAM it makes available for non-OS operations, so devices with low RAM might not be the best choice for heavy note-taking. How much RAM does my device have?
If your device has 3 GB of RAM, it might struggle to process long notes, the Nebo app, and other apps running in the background. This might result in the device's operating system closing Nebo to ensure that there is sufficient RAM available for OD functions.
Here are some tips to enhance your experience:
1. Avoid overloading your page with excessive images or extensive content, as this can lead to lags based on your device's data processing capacity.
2. Discover the diverse range of note formats available in Nebo and choose the one that best complements the note-taking experience you aim to create:
- Notebooks, ideal for various activities such as note-taking, journaling, writing, drawing, or scrapbooking.
- Boards, jot down your unstructured ideas, thoughts, mind mapping and brainstorming.
- Documents, incorporate different types of blocks like text, diagrams, or mathematical elements on structured notes.
- PDF files, import your PDF files to be annotated by hand.
3. Opt for creating new pages to improve page organization and ensure smooth operation within Nebo without encountering potential issues.
4. Remember to regularly create backups of your notes to safeguard your valuable information..
Attention: When Nebo detects that you are reaching a page content limit you will see a yellow notification banner at the top of your page. This banner will let you know that it is advisable to begin rounding off your notes and move to a new page.
To create a new page, simply select New Page in the banner. Nebo will create a new page using the page settings selected on your current page.
If you continue working on the page beyond this yellow notification point, you might start to see lag and a reduced response tile on your page, as your Device's RAM works to process any new content.
If you continue to add content a red notification banner will appear once the app detects that the risk of performance issues is too important to ignore and creating a new page is strongly advised. Working beyond this point, you are likely to see performance issues and may experience data loss, as your RAM works to process any new content.
Once again, to create a new page, simply select New Page in the banner. Nebo will create a new page using the page settings selected on your current page.

Notes:
i. To eliminate the banner from the page, you must delete the content on that particular page. The banner will persistently display until the content responsible for it is removed.
ii. Continuing to add content on a page with a banner may lead to lagging issues or even result in the notes losing their content. For the security of your notes, please consider creating a new page.
