How to duplicate a note in a folder

To duplicate a note (whether it's a Notebook, Board, Document, or PDF), first navigate to the folder containing the note. Regardless of whether your notes are displayed in a grid or list view, you have two methods to proceed from this main view:

Using Long-press:

  1. Press and hold the note you want to duplicate until the edit menu appears.
  2. Duplicate:
  • Apple: tap Duplicate.
  • Android: tap the three dots in the toolbar, then tap Duplicate
  • Windows: tap the three dots in the toolbar, then tap Duplicate

Using the More menu:

  1. Tap the three dots at the top right to open the "More" menu.
  2. Select the note.
  3. Duplicate:
  • Apple: tap Duplicate at the bottom of the screen.
  • Android: tap the three dots in the toolbar, then tap Duplicate
  • Windows: tap the three dots in the toolbar, then tap Duplicate

The duplicated note will retain the original name, with a sequential number appended each time it is duplicated. You can rename it by following this guide: How to name and rename your notes

⚠️ Note that you cannot duplicate multiple notes at once.

⚠️ Please note that the free version on Apple and Android supports up to 5 notes. To access the full version, you can upgrade through a one-time in-app purchase or directly from the store.
