How to reorder and sort your notes in a folder

In Nebo, notes are organized within folders, which are grouped into collections. The left side of the app, called the Sidebar, displays folders by collection, while the main view on the right showcases notes, including notebooks, boards, documents, and imported PDFs within each folder.

Folders help you organize your notes efficiently.

Within a folder, you can sort your notes in two ways:

  1. Manually via drag and drop.
  2. Automatically by:
  • Name (choose between "A to Z" or "Z to A").
  • Date of modification (Newest first or Oldest first).
  • Date of creation (Newest first or Oldest first).

To sort your files, first select the folder, then tap the three dots in the top right corner to open the "More" menu and choose "Sort by."

If you select to sort by name, you can choose either "A to Z" or "Z to A." For sorting by date, you can opt for "Newest first" or "Oldest first."

Tapping outside the sorting menu will close both the sorting options and the "More" menu.

Note:

You cannot reorder notes when any sorting option other than Manual is selected. Drag and drop is disabled.

Customization settings apply individually to each folder.

⚠️ There is currently no automatic sorting or a list view on Android.

⚠️ There is currently no automatic sorting on Windows.
