How to rename a folder

In Nebo, notes are organized within folders, which are grouped into collections. The left side of the app, called the Sidebar, displays folders by collection, while the main view on the right displays notes, including notebooks, boards, documents, and imported PDFs within each folder.

In Nebo, naming your folders is simple and can be done using the keyboard. Here's how:

Apple

  1. Go to the Sidebar and long press on the folder you want to rename to reveal action buttons.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. In the Edit folder dialog, change the name of your folder, then press OK or Done on your keyboard.

Android

  1. Navigate to the Sidebar.
  2. Press and hold the folder you want to rename.
  3. In the action bar at the top of the side bar, press , then tap Edit.
  4. In the Folder properties dialog, change the name of your folder, then tap Edit again.

Windows

  1. Navigate to the Sidebar.
  2. Long press on the folder you wish to rename, then release your finger.
  3. Tap Edit, and in the Folder properties, change the name of your folder.
  4. Tap Save.

In the Edit Folder dialog, you can personalize the cover color of your folder and reassign it to a different collection.
