Using templates in Nebo 6.0

Nebo does not natively support replacing the blank page with a form or template that you can fill in directly. However, there are effective methods to create and use templates in Nebo. You can create a standard template and duplicate it whenever needed, or import a PDF template for annotation. This guide will show you how to create, duplicate, and use templates efficiently in Nebo.

Creating and Using a Nebo Template

  1. Create a Template:
    • Design a standard template using Nebo's formatting tools.
    • Save this template as a separate .nebo file.
  2. Duplicate the Template:

    • Long press on the thumbnail of page you would like to duplicate.
    • Select the "Duplicate" option.
  3. Fill in the Template:

    • Open the duplicated template file.
    • Fill in the necessary details as required.
    • Keep the original template blank for future duplications.

Using PDF Templates in Nebo

  1. Import a PDF Template:
    • Download the desired PDF template to your device or create it using another word processing program.
    • Open Nebo and select the option to import the file as a PDF.
    • Long press on the thumbnail of PDF you would like to duplicate. Note: This will duplicate the whole imported PDF.
  2. Duplicate an individual PDF page Template:
    • Tap the three dots on the thumbnail of the individual page you would like to duplicate in the side bar.
    • Select the "Duplicate" option in the pop-up menu whenever you need a new template.
    • Learn more about individual PDF page duplication
  3. Annotate the PDF Template:

    • Open the imported PDF template in Nebo.
    • Use Nebo’s annotation tools to fill in or write over the template.
    • Save the annotated template as needed.
    • Remember to keep one copy of the PDF template blank.
