Setting Up Nebo on iPhone
Uninstall Nebo Viewer:
If Nebo Viewer is installed, uninstall it to avoid conflicts with Nebo and cloud sync.Install Nebo:
- Go to the App Store, search for "Nebo," and tap Install.
Onboarding:
- Account: Log in with your MyScript account or create one.
- Cloud Sync: Log in to the same cloud service as on your tablet to sync your notes.
- Auto-Sync: Enable automatic syncing to keep notes updated across devices.
Restore Purchases:
- If you purchased the full version of Nebo on your iPad, restore the purchase under Settings > Account.
Using Nebo on iPhone
Cloud Sync:
- Nebo will sync your collections and notes with your cloud service after setup.
User Interface Adjustments:
- Toolbar: Tools are split into two scrollable sections (tools on the left, colors on the right).
- Note Name: Access and edit the note name from the More menu (tap ⋯).
- Undo/Redo: Found in the More menu.
Text Creation and Editing:
- Use the keyboard for efficient text input and editing.
- Activate Tap for keyboard under More menu > Advanced.
Gestures and Tools:
- Pen Tool:
- Create shapes by holding after drawing.
- Scratch-out to delete content.
- Underline or strike-through text to apply styles.
- Highlighter Tool:
- Highlight text.
- Fill shapes or change text color with a tap and hold.
- Hand Tool:
- Scroll or pan with a swipe.
- Zoom with two-finger pinch.
- Select content with a tap.
- Add space with a two-finger tap and hold.
- Pen Tool:
Unchanged Features from the Tablet Version
- Handwriting recognition and conversion.
- Search within notes, including handwritten text.
- Copy/paste content.
- Import and annotate PDFs.
- Export to PDF, Word, or image formats.
- Create shareable weblinks.
- Use Nebo AI features (beta).
Requirements
- Device: iPhone with at least 4 GB of RAM.
- OS: iOS 15 or newer.
- Account: Free MyScript account.
- Internet: Required for app installation and initial use.
