Global search

Need to find a note but don't want to scan through all your pages? With Nebo, you can search all your notes at once:

At the page level

iOS

1. When you're on a page, tap  in the top right corner.
2. In the search bar, type the word(s) you're looking for.
3. Tap Search or Return on your keyboard to obtain the results. They appear in blue.
4. Tap the arrows below the search bar to browse the results.
5. Tap Cancel in the top right corner to exit search mode.

Android

1. When you're on a page, tap  in the top right corner.
2. In the search bar, type the word(s) you're looking for.
3. Tap on your keyboard to obtain the results. They appear in blue.
4. Tap the arrows below the search bar to browse the results.
5. Tap  in the top right corner to exit search mode.

Windows

1. When you're on a page, tap  in the top right corner.
2. In the search bar, type the word(s) you're looking for.
3. Tap Enter on your keyboard to obtain the results. They appear in blue.
4. Tap the arrows below the search bar to browse the results.
5. Tap  in the search bar to exit search mode.

At the library level

iOS

1. In the main view, tap   in the top right corner.
2. In the search bar, type the word(s) you're looking for.
3. Press Search or Return on your keyboard to obtain the results.
4. In the main view, pages with the word(s) you're looking for appear, with the number of results displayed at their top right corner.
5. Tap on a page to browse its results and use Search in the top left to go back to the side panel.
6. To access your results in the side panel you can scroll down. Only notebooks where your word appears will show, with the number of results per notebook indicated on their right.
7. Tap on a notebook to open it in the main view, and browse your results as explained in step 5.

To exit search mode, tap Cancel in the top right.

Android

1. In the main view, tap in the top right corner.
2. In the search bar, type the word(s) you're looking for.
