How can we help you today?

Fix recognition errors

Before double-tapping your text to convert it, you can view Nebo's guesses in the conversion preview above your current line. From here, you can fix recognition errors word by word. You can also enter the word using the keyboard.

If you do not see the word you need but it is a word you will use regularly you can enter it into the user dictionary. (N.B. Not available with Nebo free version for iOS).

If your text hasn't been converted yet:

  1. On the conversion preview, tap the word you'd like to fix to open a list of suggestions.
  2. In the list, select the word you meant.

If your text has already been converted:

  1. Double-tap your text block to edit it.
  2. Tap the line you want to edit.
  3. On the conversion preview, tap the word you'd like to fix to open a list of suggestions.
  4. In the list, select the word you meant.

If you need to correct errors or modify your text you are able to do so using either a keyboard or your pencil.

Notes:

i; Conversion preview is available only on Document pages.

ii. Nebo only recognizes words from your recognition language. Your recognition language is set at the creation of your notebook and cannot be changed afterward. To convert proper nouns, invented words and complex passwords, go to our article on custom words. Two other categories of words may not be recognized at first: abbreviations and foreign words
