While it is possible to write in Nebo with either a passive pen or an active pen, active pens are recommended for the best note-taking experience. 

To run Nebo we recommend a device with the following minimum recommended requirements:

4GB RAM memory (6G RAM will be optimal), 3GB may cause slowdowns with Nebo on some devices.

Nebo can be used on smartphones with a as a companion app to view your notes on a secondary device. You can also use the keyboard to create or edit text blocks. Note: Creating Diagram, Math, or Sketch objects, as well as handwriting, on your smartphone, requires an active or passive pen.
